At Merrimac Valley Animal Hospital, we are your partners in your pet’s care for life: from those first wobbly steps until your final goodbyes. We understand that end-of-life decisions are among the hardest that you’ll ever make for your pet, and we are committed to being here for you to help you through this difficult time.

Quality of Life Considerations

The question of whether to euthanize is never taken lightly by our team at MVAH. We believe that this decision must be accompanied by a number of other considerations. Our team can help you analyze your pet’s quality of life, pain levels, and more to determine whether euthanasia is really the correct choice, or if your pet still has other options.

As with all other aspects of your pet’s care, end-of-life decisions are determined on an individual basis. We encourage you to contact us if you have any questions or concerns about your pet’s quality of life, and we promise to help you with compassion and kindness.

"We couldn't be happier with the care our pets receive at MVAH."
