Kimberly was born in Massachusetts and grew up on a goat dairy in Harvard, MA. She graduated from Newbury Junior College in 1980 with an Associate’s Degree in Applied Sciences as a Veterinary Technician. Kim became a Certified Veterinary Technician in 1999. She has worked in general and emergency practices throughout the years and has been working at MVAH since June 1997. In addition to her love for animals, she enjoys scrap booking, gardening and spending time with family which includes five children and seven grandchildren. Currently she has one dog, one cat and a flock of chickens. She also helps care for her elderly mother as well as her mom's horse and two Chihuahuas.
Gretchen is one of our Certified Veterinary Technicians. Ever since eighth grade she has been working in the veterinary field. She graduated from Amesbury High School and then went on to receive her Bachelor’s degree at Morehead State University. She is a native of Amesbury and currently lives in town with her two cats, Mitzy and Steve. Her favorite part of her job is being able to see, interact, and help each of her patients. Outside of work she enjoys going kayaking and going on hikes with her family’s yellow lab, Bruschi.
Michele Smith is a graduate of Amesbury High and has been with MVAH since 1991. She worked with Dr Brown for seven years until the practice was purchased by Dr Wojcicki in 1998. Michele is a liaison between the clients of MVAH and the technical staff. She also manages most administrative needs of the office. Michele lives in Seabrook with her husband Bill and their kids; William, Buddy, and Pumpkin (Buddy and Pumpkin are the four legged babies of the family).
Rachel is one of our veterinary technicians who happily joined the team at MVAH in March of 2016. She has worked in the field since completing her B.S. degree in Animal Science at the University of New Hampshire in 2011. She became certified in Massachusetts in January of 2014. Outside of work she enjoys watching horror movies, spending time with her handsome Akita "Kodiak," cooking, petting farm animals, and working on various art projects.
Emily has been working with animals since she graduated high school, and went on to obtain her B.S. degree in biology from Roanoke College. She has held a variety of animal care positions however veterinary medicine has always been her favorite. She is so happy to be back on the east coast with her husband, and two dogs Renley and Lucian, as well as their collection of reptiles. In her free time, Emily enjoys reading, gardening and playing video games.
"As always, everyone was great. Buddy got his booster for the dog flu. He loves going to MVAH. He didn't even know he had a shot. I just tell him we're going to the "doggy" place and he gets all excited cuz everybody gives him hugs and kisses."
