Parasite Prevention for Pets
Fleas, ticks, and mosquitoes are more than just irritating pests, they can also be the carriers of deadly diseases. We recommend that all pet owners keep your pet protected from pests year-round to ensure that they are safe from the deadly diseases that can result from parasites. Deer ticks are everywhere and can carry Lyme disease and anaplasmosis, dog ticks carry Rocky Mountain spotted fever, and mosquitoes transmit heartworm disease which is expensive to treat in dogs and ultimately untreatable in cats. Fleas are common too. They can carry the organism responsible for cat scratch disease in people and tapeworms in dogs and cats.
If you are in need of parasite prevention, please ask our team right away. We can provide ongoing preventative health care for your pet, and we recommend that prevention be used year-round.
